Thanks for posting the link to that video, JDSeller. It brought back some good memories. I spent a a year, I think it was 2012, running and fixing equipment for a small logging company. A couple months in we bought a used Tigercat 870 feller buncher and a used Tigercat 630C skidder. Good, hardworking quality iron. I put in quite a few hours on that 630C, it was an absolute beast in the woods. In its day, I think it was the strongest skidder you could get, short of the 6 wheeled variants. The only major issues we had with either machine was the engines. They were both 2003's if I recall correctly, and Cummins 8.3's from that time frame are only good as boat anchors as far as I'm concerned. But beyond that, Tigercat builds some truly cutting edge machinery. There's days I miss logging.
