For me it would depend on where the rear axle is placed. I've driven one with the axle too near the center of the box and when something got stuck in the tail gate when spreading gravel the front of the truck came off the ground about 3 feet. Not a comfortable situation.
The lack of the two speed axle is a concern too depending on where you might be when starting a load and what the lowest gear was. Slipping a clutch to start a load isn't a good plan.
