Evening guys!
So, for some projects I have planned over the next ~5 years (ill spare you the details) I've decided that I'll likely need a backhoe. So, Ive been looking around for a project machine to work on here and there as I'm able.
And I found this one! Its a model 200 Massey with aforementioned backhoe and loader (see pic). I'm told it has a GAS engine that should run, something about dirt in the carb I think the guy said. He wants $3500 for it as is. It seems like it might be a little steep to me, but I'm no an expert on backhoes.
Questions: 1) Are parts easily available for a model 200 with Gas Engine? 2) Is there anything I should know about this model, or similar models? 3) What would you guess a machine like this might be worth? I'm in Texas if it makes any difference.
