The variety of on and off topics are a comprehensive and inclusive enough to review for interesting topics to contribute to, or ignore by passing by. The task of going to other truck, car, UTV, or dragline crane would dilute the richness of this Talk forum, and might hide topics inside a forum with much smaller readership. I imagine some of the brand specific topics are visited less than 10% of this one. I like the exposure these topics receive.
The statement (or implied meaning): I remember my neighbor had that model, he ended up putting a timesert in the casting to strengthen the connection. Is an answer that would not have been available if the question was segregated to a topic specific "new" forum.
