this 1949 allis chalmers wd i traded for just gets more and more weird, and i need some help, the thing drove in here after i watched it run for 30 minutes [rebuilt engine] and played with it some, i gave a 48 cub for it, now the mag is dead, i changed points and condenser, no help, the mag apparently is not the one that should be on the tractor but a rebuilt earlier one that somebody at sometime put on there, parts apparently arnt made for this mag, so i got a used but hot mag that should be standard on this tractor, it is hot, but the drive coupler wont engage the engine, could somebody have actually changed that too? the mag that was on the tractor has 2 numbers, its a fairanks morse, fm, or 4b4, also has another number, 2174253, this one has a 2 piece cap the mad i bought is also a fairbanks morse, fm, k4b, number 401573, with 1 piece cap, what have i got, and what can i do to get this running
