Good post! I have a four year degree in Animal Science and a minor in Ag Business. I use some of what I learned in college every day. I compare a degree to a tool in a tool box- it can't fix everything, but when you need it, it is there. And it is not the ONE thing that you can do that will make you OR break you. After college, I worked in a feed mill/elevator for several years. When I was there,I learned about working with people. Both that and what I learned in college contribute to how I operate today on the farm, and I am grateful I had those opportunities.
I see people of all education levels that make questionable decisions...
