What KCM said it sounds like you need a battery backup surge protector. Back when my farm had 100 amp service the wire welder was causing the farm's voltage to dip and spike, messing up our router in the process. The computer tech said a router is the first to go when voltage fluctuations occur and recommended a good sized battery backup surge protector. We got one of these protectors and that ended the router problems. We now have 200 amp service and heavier wiring on the farm so the welder doesn't give problems anymore but we still have that battery backup surge protector just in case.
