I have a couple boxes full of of old spark plugs. Whenever I see them cheap at auctions or flea markets I pick them up. I prefer the older take apart style so I can clean them or make two bad plugs into one good one. I use them in my antique engines. They work better than new plugs and look the period. The one you have I would say it is late 30's or 40's and looks to be in nice shape. I'm sure it would still work like new!
