The manual I have is the "Operator's manual". It covers operation, maintenance, lubrication, adjustment for clutch, park brake, shift linkage, and governor linkage. It also covers trouble shooting. You can purchase one from this website, Jensales or Binder Books. The transmission on a 454 is a 4 speed synchromesh with a high, low and reverse. This gives you 8 speeds forward and 4 in reverse. The manual states that the top of the clutch pedal should be 6 inches from the foot platform and the free play should be one inch. Wayne
