About 20 years ago a central MN farmer had set the sheet metal from a 2 cylinder JD out in the field one spring when we were still going through spring thaw. Along with the sheet metal he set 2 rear tires cut in half with some cardboard painted yellow to look like rims. Behind that he put his old manure spreader with the tongue on the ground. This was all set up about a 1/4 section from the nearest road along side a grove of trees on the headland. Boy did the news go out that he had buried his tractor trying to get a jump on spring work
