Was 5-10 miles east of me, in an arc from south to north.
Didn't know anything was up it was deadly calm, started raining like crazy, zero wind. Then saw the warnings on tv, and local station went to an hour of coverage, listened to the police scanner, was crazy stuff. All the while very calm. Then over night we got a wind blast, leveled sweet corn, leaned the corn. 3" of rain.
One of the odder storms to go by. All those little but powerful twisters. It really messed up one farm, damaged about every building, but they didn't lose any calves - some huts were in the trees, but the calves survived.
