I've been on one for about 20 years now.
It did take some getting used to. I resisted it at first, but realized I had to have it. I would snore so bad I would get up with my throat irritated and swollen.
I tried the nasal mask, it didn't work for me. My mouth would come open, air just blow in my nose, out my mouth. Had to go with the full face. It works, but it will wake me a few times a night leaking. You will learn to sleep laying still, or it will get knocked sideways and leak.
My biggest complaint is waking with a dry mouth, even with the heated humidifier. But, still better than the alternative.
When I first got mine, I picked it up at a clinic where they measured and fit the mask, adjusted the pressure, etc. I went back several times trying different masks until I found the right one. If this is offered to you, take advantage of it. It needs to fit and work right to be effective.
Once you get everything set, be sure to keep all the info and copies of your prescription. You will need the prescription to buy supplies, which can be bought online much cheaper.

The gentleman no longer farmed because the entire area was developed with housing and light industry. I had stopped several times and knocked on the door but no one would answer. My curiosity was up and I wanted to contact the owner. I wanted to see what he planned to do with the combine.
