It is for sure he will be blind. No eye ball on either side. Doc first thought swelling was pushing them up but on further examining Doc said that there was nothing there. I just came in from putting the meds in the eye opening and he was munching on grass hay with the mare. I lift him up in my lap to put the meds in his eyes and he is still jumpy about being lifted. He calms down right away though. He was bumping his nose quite hard when he came to a stall wall or gate. I noticed tonight he is only slightly touching them before turning. Doc is in his eighties and said it was his first foal without eyes. I hung a bell on the mare yesterday so after I let them out he will know where she is.
