On my Oliver 1550 gas used to be I'd fire up the motor and the amp gauge would go over on charge a couple minutes then back to the middle always kept the battery charged.So yesterday I notice the fan belt is some loose and pretty ratty so I got a new one and put it on.Now when I start the tractor the amp needle goes all the way to the right(charge) and stays there doesn't back off no matter how long it runs.Is this going to over charge the battery?Didn't have a meter with me to check volts.
