My Dad bought a new 990 in 1965, it had the rear hyd pump,, still in the family as my uncle bought it in 1967 and still gets used at least weekly,, love DB's, we also sold DB's when Case bought them in 1971, sold lots of them every year,, all the ones we got in had the live front pumps, but I have seen a dozen or more that do not, just stating what could be,, I was wrong on the baler he pulled with it though it was Hesston,, sorry about that I was thinking of 1975 when the NH 850 came out and I had a 990 hooked to it to pull it through the 4th of July parade lol
