I found out the hard way that you cannot turn with a differential locked. Never hear of it and had borrowed my Uncles 3020 Deere and chopper. From his place to mine straight for a mile. Got on road at his place OK, when went to turn in my driveway I could not turn, slid the tires sideways. Hit the brake to stop and back up, then I was able to turn of the road into my drive. Later found out about the differential lock and hitting the brake released it.
