Hi Don. I missed your posts about the 1850 and 1955. Both pretty good tractors ! We have a 1650 gas, a 1750 diesel with a charger, oil cooler and updates. Also have a 1755 with nothing done yet so far. I am not sure what you mean by "they are only good for so many hours". Boh the 1750 and 1755 have been good work horses for us. The 1750 got a full rebuild maybe 500 hours ago. It has around 8000 hours on it. We have not done anything with the 1755. That had just under 6000 hours and runs great. Bought that one 10 years ago and it looks like the motor was never apart. Still runs great though ! If you are thinking about getting rid of the Oliver's, what are you looking at as replacements ?

The need for fabricating becomes obvious when you go to buy any of these
