Ruggeddd.........ya gotta computer on yer tractor? Thats WHY yer BelchFire-V8 has string sparkie wires 'cuz computers donna like electrical noise that sparks make. Use COPPER CORE on yer tractor and yer sparkies will sparkle. Ennytime ya haff startin' issues, change yer sparkies AGAIN!!! Recommend AutoLite 437's gapped 0.025. Don't throw yer old FLOODED sparkies away, just clean'n'dry 'em, one-atta-time in HOT running engine and save'um fer the next time (and there will be a NEXT time) Since ya confessed to muckin' with yer carbie, here's how to adjust it rite. Set yer down-pointing mainjet to 2-turns and LEAVITT!!! Adjust yer side-pointing idlejet for FASTEST idle, NOT SMOOTHEST idle. Understand the difference??? Usually about 1/8-1/4 turn. Adjust the behind the carbie idlespeed fer ennythang under 500-rpms. I know yer Massy don't gotta tach, but guess ennyways. I rebuild the carbie on my eazy starting 52-8N and gotter to idle at 375-rpms with an transistorized tachometer. 2nd advice, gitt some gun-smithing screwdrivers, they're HOLLOW GROUND and don't waller out yer soft brass jets like standard "V" shaped blades. TIP: ya kenn make yer own hollow ground drivers by holding 'em against the side of yer electric grinder wheel. Simple, eh? .......HTH, the amazing Dell

Today's Featured Article - Show Coverage: Godfrey, Illinois Country Days - by Cindy Ladage. Except for last fourth of July's Old Gold show in Springfield, Illinois, I don't remember when it was so hot. Nevertheless, the heat didn't keep vendors and visitors alike from enjoying the third annual Country Day's Event. Jane Elliott said the event was originally a one man show. "Barry Seiler, owner of Country Town Farm Supply store used to invite people up to the Johne Deere store. He would give hats and a free meal for everyone that brings a tractor." Elliott said while this ... [Read Article]
