Either he means new to that tractor or he means he found a NOS engine which is unlikely. More likely would be finding a NOS block, crankshaft, to build an engine from. Pretty rare at this point but that kind of NOS does turn up today. Somebody was telling about a NOS block for a Farmall M for sale not that long ago. The darnedest things still turn up in barns around the country. One of the area parts yard guys made a point of hitting dealer liquidation auctions for that reason when he was alive.
