I once had a cat named Pain in the @$$. We just called her Pain most of the time. No mouse died of old age while she was around. When she had young kittens around she would bring home 15 to 20 mice every day and pile them in the yard. On day a cat killing dog came into the yard after her kittens. She jumped on his back, bit down and clawed in. The dog ran out of the yard with her on his back. I think she rode him for a half a mile. She was still on him when he was too far away to see. That dog never came back to my place.
