She was a skinny, wormy little kitten that followed me home when I was out walking one evening...the most incredibly athletic cat I've ever seen, and also the most vocal - she offered an opinion about most everything.
We had lots of outside cats when I was growing up in the country, but Bud was my first inside cat. I took her to the vet the day after taking her in, and he said she was about 5 weeks old. I had no idea they could live so long.
