About 12 years ago my 1420 IH wouldnt idle down and smoked lots under a heavy load.. I took the pump off myself and took it 70 miles to a diesel shop..They checked it out, recalibrated it,and resealed it...The fuel screw had been bottomed out on it..The bill was $600.. I still have the D-358 with pump and would sell it for $1,000.
