Yes, the dampness of the evening made all the difference. I worked til 10:30, then started up again about 8:00 this morning. It was a bit wet but sure worked nice. I find if I can keep a good big swath pushing in it tends to feed better. Worst scenario is a skimpy little dry swath and having to drive slow on rough ground. Almost guaranteed to block up on the pickup in front of the chain. Thats why I like to use the rake to throw a few small swaths together into a big one that keeps the baler happy.
