A folding cylinder on the planter was leaking more than a drip drip and dad was frustrated given the lateness of spring planting as to fixing it then and there. I told him that was cheaper than waiting until it got to a seep and estimating how fast it would take down the fluid level in the 4250 powershift. The seal replacement counting gas to go get was maybe 50 bucks versus well over 10K if the tractor had been run low on fluid for too long?
