I use liquid Sevin on pumpkins, squash, and about anything else with bugs on it. You can get it at Walmart or TSC. A 32 ounce bottle will mix with 20 gallons of water. I just turn on the center nozzle on my sprayer and strattle the rows. I just used 30 gallons to cover about 4 acers of pumpkins. I just had a little infestation in one plot so I hit them all. Cost me 14 bucks and my time and fuel. Its worked for years for me. I have brought it in a 2.5 gallon container from my chemical supplier but it comes out costing less for the 32 ounce container at the box store.
