I keep reading all these posts about how "fun" and amazing the AK-47 is. Meanwhile, all I can do is think about how many US servicemen and women it has killed, and continues to kill.

Yes, I have read how the gun can fire reliably while having lots of dirt and crud inside. ...Let's see, how many of our guys got killed by the thing? How many dangerous 3rd world countries are now fully armed with them?

I know we have better and more powerful weapons, as well as technology now, but the AK is still a force to be reckoned with under certain conditions!
