Friend of mine gave me a Romanian kit he bought way back when they were selling for ~$100.00. At that time they would just torch the receiver into, now they cut the barrel and the receiver which makes building one from a kit not worth the cost. I bought a new receiver and the parts to turn it into a working AK. Was a fun project, made the tooling to replace the rivets and gave me an excuse to buy a hydraulic press.
