My BA a tractor I built form 2 Bs and an A had a problem a lot like yours. I found a couple of leaves from who knows where in the gas tank. It would run fine for a while then all at once die but after a couple minutes start back up What was happening was the leaves would get pulled down and cover the gas outlet of the tank and shut off gas flow. Then when no more gas was flowing they would float and it would start beck up just to have it happen over again till I fished them out
