After knotting, where is the twine on the disc? It should be coming across the disc running slightly uphill to the left. The tucker fingers are not a loose, tight adjustment, they are a distance adjustment. They are supposed to bring the twine from the needles to the twine discs. I used to have that measurement in my head but no longer. I don't recall if you have a manual. You need to go through the adjustments step by step. The tucker fingers will not get the job done if the needles are too far out. You should also, as others said before, take the tension off the chamber, pull the bale and packed hay out, Then feed a foot or so in loosely, turning by hand, then trip and turn it and check what is happening as the needles come up and it ties.
