Yes, I've had it for 40 years. I have never taken any pain meds. Main thing seems to be when the pain turns into numbness and muscle atrophy. My neck got like that and I had to get it fused with some of my hi bone. Lower back just gets a lot of pain, but so far - it comes and it goes. No telling what will set it off. I might do hard physical work and it is fine. Another week just sitting around the cursed computer and it goes out. I know one thing. 10-20 years from now - none of this will matter.
