My guess would be the truck driver was trying to bully the farmer! I see drivers of cars and trucks trying to get as close to farm equipment as they can on two lane state roads. Living on a high trafficked some what hilly state road I some times have to follow large fold up implements for a couple miles before I can pass. You can see the displeasure on the face of some drivers as they have to get over meeting the farm machinery. Some areas where guard rails are on both sides of the road there is only room for the equipment. When bulling a farmer in these areas you loose! People seem to forget that the two lane roads are farm to market roads.
