If you are talking about the Galfre 190 like I have it comes from Turkey. Nice machine, no problems with mine. I did install a hyd cylinder to replace the far end rod so that I could not only lift it vertically, I could then tilt the outside end up in the air (like you see disc mowers carried) for transport.
Blades run me $25 per hundred, two sided, tempered and coated steel. Being 2 sided, you can run them and when dull swap to the other drum and run the other side of the blade. I run 6 per drum and before a cutting I take my hand grinder and tune them up...no need to put in a new blade when the existing one just needs a tune up....just takes a few minutes and you get a superb cut. It rides on the ground and has +/- ground variance capabilities.
I have the 1" spacer installed and on sudan-sorghum get about a 3" CONSISTENT stubble, unlike my JD 1209 swathers that who knows what your stubble length will be.
