Hi Everyone, my daughter, her two cats and I completed our road trip from Salt Lake City, UT to Ottawa, Canada today. We drove 2320 miles from noon MDT Friday June 23 thru to 3 PM EDT Wed June 28. Traveled the I-80 to I-69 to I-94 to 402 to 401 to 427 to 401 to 416 to 417. We stayed over night in Cheyenne WY, Omaha NE, Davenport IA, South Bend IN and London Ontario. We had brief stops in Davenport IA to visit cousins and Ann Arbor MI to visit my daughter's friend. We had good weather all the trip with just light showers a couple places. Saw many Angus cattle, one JD Combine and two JD track type tractor heading west on flat beds, also many wind turbines actually turning in Iowa. Crops looked good in NE, IA, IL but in MI and western Ontario many fields with water puddles and shorter corn.
Thanks to Jon and others that gave route and traffic tips about a month ago. JimB
