Take how much water it took to spay 1000 sq ft and then you can add the correct amount of chemical per 1000sq/ft to that same amount of water. Most turf chemicals will have a per 1000 rate on the label. If not divide per acre rates by 43.560 to get per 1000 rate. I don't know if your 24D is 4 or 6 pounds per gallon but that said 2oz sounds a bit low.
