I did that for the first time this year. I rented one from a neighbor. Was very nerve racking running over a good stand of beans. The only place there was damage was where you turned around, and an occasional spot where the tractor tires chewed them up. Where the tires got them you can't even tell now. There are some spots on the headlands that won't come back, but I think banging those rocks down is worth it.
