I have a 70 gas and it runs great! It has a knocking noise which sounds like it's coming from the clutch area, it makes the knocking noise under load, like when driving up a hill, or pulling a wagon, when you throttle up or when you engage the clutch. But when it's just sitting there running it doesn't make the noise.
One guy told me it was the engine bearings another guy said that I wouldn't have oil pressure if it was that and said it's probably the clutch disks. Another tid bit of info is the fly wheel has a crack in it, someone torqued the bolts to much and cracked it one time. I got it that way. Is the noise coming from the flywheel being cracked and maybe loose? Any help would be appreciated. :) Thanks Curtis
