I forgot to add that at some points I could not reach the bottom of the water with my 7 foot "selfie stick". Out where the deepest part of the slough was obviously. Getting nearer the shores we ran aground a few spots. Also got to watch for broken off trees under the surface. And yes, Gopro advertises the camera housing as waterproof so I had to try it out. It is!
