For many decades manure spreaders were made with wood floors and wood sides, they cleaned out fairly well. Before loading, try wetting the wood down with water or a release agent like diesel fuel (used on plywood concrete forms). The wood will release better and absorb less liquid from the manure.
If you need to protect the wood box from the manure, can you find another truck with a steel bed to use? Lining a truck box with sheets of 1/8 or 1/4 inch thick UHMW polyethylene will be expensive, check McMaster-Carr, www.McMaster.com , for ball bark prices. If you lay a tarp or a plastic sheet on a dry wood floor without fastening the liner to the box, there is a good chance the liner will slide out with the load the first time you dump a load. Then you will have to dig the liner out of the dumped load of manure.
