Have a friend/neighbour that's using our harrows to do a 60 AC field. He insists he wants to come run a dump truck hauling silage to swap it off and not use them for free. The harrows are only a 14' set,it's the type with 5 rows of duck feet points and 2 sets of rolling baskets. I was thinking it might possibly be worth $5-6/AC but since I really don't want anything for them anyways maybe ask him $3/AC towards wages for hauling silage? Is that still too much or rediculasly under priced? I know he's a good operator so I'm not concerned he'll do any damage and I'm happy to let him use them this time but I also don't want it to be a new habit either unless we're both being treated fairly. Thank you for any thoughts and suggestions.
