Every make and model tractor has its problems. I remember an old story around here where all the boys sat around drinking coffee arguing about whether a Ford, Chevrolet or Dodge was better. An older guy sat back and said, "Listen fellas, - there's no choice in junk". Goes to show nothing's perfect. You gotta ease into a new tractor line and series. Don't buy the first one. Listen to the owners. We will not give up on our Deere 55 series tractors. They were the best money could buy either new then and now used if they are low hours and well maintained, easy to maintain and parts are available.
