I had a 120 horse McCormick that was a gutless wonder and it was nothing but trouble with the relays for lights and pto. Finally got so sick of it I traded it for a Cat trac. With a name like Cat my troubles should be over, right? WRONG. I got beepers beeping and codes flashing all the time. All the lights would only work when they want to. The lights on these tractors now days have to many relays so work lights won't come on when you have hazards on. and road lites won't come on when you have work lites on and the list goes on and on. Took it to dealer to have lights straightened out last year. $1600. They seam to be working properly this year but I got a water level code that is acting up sometimes and the radiator and overflow tank are full. I want to ignore it but you start doing that to often and soon you got a pile of junk. I suppose I will run it in and have them fix it and pay my $1600. I want everything on my equip. to work perfect. I'm 64 years old and never had to run junk in my life and I'm not about to start now. But these electronics are really starting to test me.
