Yes to the question. What I use to do was mow down my corn stalks the stalks would lay between the row's. Walk along and drop pea seed on top of the stalks. When they popped up good roll the dirt good to'em. The only problem was it made the best look'N pea vines you have ever seen but very little peas to harvest. Part of it was to much shade are little sun from the tree row beside the corn field. It did give me the tractor driver something to do tho :)....
