Township road commissioner I worked for about 1973,&'74 got a brand new '74 C-65 like that, but the dump box was a couple inches higher and maybe a foot longer. And our C-65 had Dayton wheels. 366 and 5+2 transmissions. I spent most of the summer cold patching roads out of that Thing! Used to get patch about 20 miles from town, then had to go about 50 miles when first place stopped making cold patch. Then one day the Boss found out I could get patch about 12-13 miles away. The fun days were hauling crushed rock or road chips from the quarry. Truck had just big enough gas tanks to run 7-8 trips which was all the longer the quarry was open. Couple years later the new Road commissioner bought a C-70 tandem dump with 427 and 5�2.
