BAMBI Goat - Born: July 04, 2008 / Died: Saturday, June 03, 2017 @ 10:45 PM

< This was originally Posted over on Tractor Tales, but a lot of my on-line friends here don't frequent "that" Forum, so I thought it appropriate to Post it here as I have talked about BAMBI and posted several of her pictures on this Forum and other YT Forums. >

Last night was one of the WORST nights of my life. BAMBI, the "house-pet" that I have been raising as if she were my own Daughter (I've outlived two wives & all seven of my children) died last night due to Acute Respiratory Distress from a relapse of Bronchial Pneumonia. I had taken her in to the Veterinary Hospital several times and she seemed to be doing better, but then she had a serious relapse and was on Antibiotics. She was the only "family" I had, and I'm really going to miss her, as we went everywhere together. We have been constant companions 24/7 ever since I got her as a teeny tiny baby.

A Big THANK YOU to everyone for your Kind & Sympathetic responses. BAMBI was more than just Special to me, she was Special to a whole lot of folks WORLD WIDE. She is actually a World Famous Goat; she has been featured on several Television Stations, various Newspapers, and in several Magazines. Everyone that has ever seen her wants to take her Picture, and a lot of them send those Pictures to there Children & Grand-Children not only in this Country but World Wide as well. Everyone in Pahrump,Nevada knows BAMBI or knows of her, she is the un-official Mascot of Pahrump, and they call me "The Goat Man" and to which I don't object. BAMBI is all over the Internet - she was one of the FIRST animals to be featured on "The People of Walmart" web site, she's on FaceBook and there is even some woman on FaceBook who is using a picture of BAMBI as her own Avatar, she's also on Twitter and YouTube with some of BAMBI's pictures taking over 4.5 Million Hits (and it's all been done by everyone else).
I'm Copeing, but just barely. I'll be notifying the local Newspapers in the morning. I've got BAMBI packed in Ice and wrapped in plastic as I will be taking her about 100 miles to a Taxidermist in Henderson,Nevada. Because of the association that BAMBI and I had, it seems almost in-humane to bury her.
