Neighbour had one but don't if it was a Friday car or was representative of the model. His had several trips back to the dealer for warranty work after leaving him stranded on the side of the road. GM trailed the car from the dealership and brought it back after a couple of weeks but would not say what they repaired or replaced.
The diesel engine when strangled with Tier IV emissions and placed in a light duty application has a lot working against the basic design.
A diesel is supposed to operate for hours at a time at full power and at full rpms, not putting around here and there granny driving.
The DI gasser does everything a diesel does in the light duty application but better.
