Was mowing in the field that was the staging area for rescues by the military after the Mt. St. Helens eruption in 1980- managed to get a discarded parachute wound up in my disc mower on the backswath. I had a dull pocket knife and was hacking away at it when the World's Oldest Man came tottering out- handed me his sharp pocket knife, and takes mine back to his house. Things went much faster with his very sharp knife, and pretty soon, he came back with mine- it was the sharpest its ever been, before or since. I thanked him kindly, and he said, "No, thank you, for giving me a chance to do something useful today."
