Why is the Tacoma a bad buy? Ive got 2. My 06 is at 321,000 km on the odo with maybe 1500 in repairs over the last 11 years. Most repairs caused by the fact it hauled trailers most of those kms and not light ones.(brakes, a set of rear leafs and a set of airbags now) The new '15 already has 80,000km on it with no issues. I would gladly drive across the country tomorrow in either of them hauling a trailer. Sure beats my uncle's dodge which is on its 3rd rear differential, is 5 years old and rusting through the rear fenders already, oh and the front end had to be rebuilt under warranty. I think he finally has 120,000km on it. I will say that motor in it, the hemi has been really good though.
