Gotta agree, oil and gas both are the same BEFORE additives are blended in. Then which additive and the quantity added can make a huge difference.
Our current daily driver doesn't use oil if you don't put in cheap oil. Use the cheap stuff and it starts using enough between changes to wipe out the difference. It's the same with gas. If I buy gas at several area cut rate places the mileage drops between 2 and 5 MPG. I know after talking to the owner of one place that his gas has the same additives as my usual place, just less by about 50%. Darned Suburban seems to like it's additives. Addicted maybe :wink: ?
