Centaur located in Greenwich, OH built them up to the 50's. I never saw one on a farm even though the plant was only 30 miles away. Lots of them got sold to the state for mowing roadsides. They used LeRoi engines and were eventually bought out by LeRoi. I suspect the transmissions were also a purchased item from some body. Normal repair procedures should work, not complicated machines. My grandfather owned a Centaur tractor in the 20's, not much more than a garden tractor. It burned up in a fire in 1928. Dad farmed with horses for 10 more years.
