Reminds me of a problem a friend of mine had.Brand new O/B,175 or 200 HP,less than 50 hrs. on it.On the way in from a day of fishing in the plumb gut, Gardeners Island area of eastern long island,N.Y.Began to lose power and had to call Sea Tow.Get to the marina and everybody wants to know whats wrong.He tells them -lost power, engine seized.Mechs all say you must have run dry of oil.B.S. he says,check the oil tank,nearly full.Powerhead replaced under warrantee.All oil injection gear removed and/or caped and plugged.
